Preparations For Worlds by Eric Bartle by JK Team | Apr 13, 2011 | Uncategorized | 1 comment For the last three months this has been my schedule: My week starts with a five hour work out teaching kayaking on Mondays from 3:00-8:00 PM. This is sponsored by the Cincinnati Recreation Commission at a local high school pool. There are many skill levels from play boaters and river runners to beginners. On Tuesdays I go for a six mile bike ride for a cardio work out. Wednesday is my day off; I pray for rain and go to the best available feature. On Thursday I drive to Dayton and help out at the Whitewater Warehouse taking people down the Mad River. Fridays I go for a small paddle if the levels are good on the Little Miami River before work. On the weekends, I hope for rain to enjoy the local creeks or drive to Paint Creek about an hour east of Cincinnati. It is about the only place around with a constant play wave. My week is full but there is no where I would rather be than on the water! Monday the cycle starts all over again! 1 Comment Anglesey Stick on April 14, 2011 at 10:56 am Eric, surely the cycle starts again on Tuesday 😉 Reply Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
