Ill just say it once, “don’t come knocking at my door in 16 years and expect a friendly reception.”
Mommy tells me I can’t tell her she can’t date a raft guide or a kayaker. BUT DADDY DON”T CARE!!!
My biggest fear is some dirty kayaker bum showing up. It happened to EJ, now look at him. Stuck with a Troutman….. Forever. I just wouldn’t want that happening to me… is all I am saying.

So each morning, mommy gets up, stomps around the room on her heals and slams doors and goes for a run. While she is running, or biking, Macee and I awake from mommy’s stomping get ready for the day. Aqua diaper goes on, mango is fed, Macee plays in the boat while I get the Truck loaded up. Monday through Friday, 6:30 am we hit the river. Our friends Jim and Becka (spelet wrong for sure) hooked Daddy here up with a skirt with a hole in it for Macee to poke her head up and check it out. Don’t get me wrong, we don’t run anything with her, she just comes out for the park and play sessions. she holds the paddle, sits on my happy seat. I blow it up so it sits her at the right height. Its pretty cool. People say, kids change everything. THey do! the whole baby being born thing…….. DAMMMMMMM but we make decisions to continue to be who we are. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy. You have to do backflips some days. But we rock, with a baby on board.
