I was lucky to have a day with no cross country or soccer, so my Dad and I loaded up the Cudas and headed to one of our favorite spots.

The Puppies were there, but they were a little finicky and preferred fresh cut bait to jigs or plugs.  We caught several slot reds between 18-24 in.

The Cudas are awesome in the salt, easy to paddle, very stable and carry all the tackle you need.  We’ll have a few more weeks with the puppy drum and speckled trout and then it will be Striped Bass full time.  Here is a link to some video from the trip.
