Finally on the water!

Between school, church, and not too good of weather, I have not been able to get out in the kayak like I have wanted to. Today was the first day I have had the time or the weather to get out, and I decided to try paddling my dad’s Kilroy. I was very surprised by the speed and the stability of the boat. I also decided to take a fishing rod along just to try to get a fish to eat. I ended up catching my first two fish of the year.

What was going to be just a good relaxing paddle, ended up being a pretty good fishing trip and experiment with a boat that was new to me. I might need to borrow that kayak a little more often!
