Winter time can be a great time for diving off the North coast of California.

Big winter storms and swells often knock out the over grown summer kelp and the visibility can be spectacular.

If you time your dive right and get out in between storms, you will frequently find excellent visibility and abundant fish.

Here is a little compilation video I put together showing some of my favorite footage of the fun winter dives I have had from January through April.

Fish were taken by diving off a Jackson Kayak Cuda14, BigTuna and Cruise12 with various dive partners, and fed many family and friends.

Sincerely,

Jim
