So I have had my Big Rig for over a week now and I can say that I have completely fallen in love with it. I’ve had it out several times this week on the Ohio River here in WV chasing bass and even took it out one night for an extended cat fishing session. So far it has performed flawlessly.

While I am not the biggest guy(6ft, 145lbs), the big rigs amount of space and stability is what attracted me to this boat. Also the large deck area was a big draw for the ability to be able to fly and spin cast for musky. I haven’t gotten to test that yet but it will come sooner than later.

The Big Rig isn’t a speed boat but with a nice even paddling stroke I was able to get going at a good pace and hold it steady for quite some time without fatigue. The boat isn’t for everyone but it has definitely found a spot at the top of my line up and fits perfectly in my niche of fishing.

Another common thing I hear about the boat is the weight. Yes it is heavy and yes it can be tough to load and unload solo but by trailering the boat I eliminated that problem for myself. When I first picked it up at the dealer though I car topped it by myself without to much of a hassle so it can be done.

I look forward to reporting back here soon with a more in depth report but I was to antsy to wait any longer. Hope you all enjoy and stay safe out there!

Happy Paddling,
