Jackson Kayak announces the addition Isaac Levinson to their team, bringing in another accomplished river racer to their quiver.  Isaac will be racing the famed Sickline steep creek race in a Jackson Kayak this coming weekend in Austria in his first international race as a Team Jackson Kayak member.


Isaac Levinson, a US Slalom Team member from 2008 to 2012, has spent the last few seasons scooping up whitewater racing’s top honors winning the exclusive Green Race in both the short and long boat class, the Russell Fork race, the Little White race, and is the current GoPro Mountain Games champion.  Isaac was also dubbed the Canoe and Kayak Magazine “Paddler of the Year” for his accomplishments in mainstream whitewater racing.  His involvement in the design of creek racing kayaks is brings his skills as a leading designer to the table at Jackson as well.

“Isaac has been amazing to watch over the years,” states Jackson’s Marketing Director, James McBeath, “having him on our team has been icing on a cake that’s seen quite a few of our sport’s top athletes join us in our boats of late.”

Isaac Levinson adds, “I’m very excited about joining team Jackson, I’ve been close with the family for many years and they have always been a huge inspiration to me. The way they live the river lifestyle shows their passion for the sport and is something I can’t wait to be a part of.”  Isaac continues, “Jackson Kayak’s dominance in the sport, strong team, and progressive boat designs are what attracted me to join their team. I’m looking forward to giving input on boat design and working with the rest of the design team to make even more progressive boats in the future.

About Isaac Levinson: Isaac is  a 25 year old whitewater kayak specialist who calls White Salmon, WA his home town.  He was a member of the US National Slalom Team from 2008 to 2012, and since then has progressed into steep creek racing, subsequently using his slalom skills and winning or placing at many of the top races on the circuit.
