There are many Scupper Transducer Mounts for fishing kayaks on the market and a lot of kayak anglers have come up with very creative solutions for themselves. Here is my personal DIY Scupper Transducer Mount solution!

Do you have a friend in metal production? Then it’s easy! If not, you will surely find similar material in the hardware store that will be made to fit with a few custom adjustments and new holes.

Here is my solution, you need the following things:
– 1 round disc (approx. 55 mm diameter, approx. 2 mm height) with a hole for the screw and at least one side cable entry.
– 1 washer (approx. 55 mm diameter, approx. 2 mm height) with a hole for the screw and a bent attachment for the transducer.
– 1 screw (possibly in different lengths depending on the kayak model. I attached the mount to the Liska, YuPIK, Bite FD and BigRig HDFD and needed 3 different lengths).
– Various matching washers and nuts.

The disc with a diameter of 55 mm has so far fit in all models where I have attached it. The assembly is very simple. There are many kayak anglers who build a holder from PVC pipe or similar. Many solutions are possible with creativity and there are plenty of examples on YouTube.

If you prefer to buy a Scupper Transducer Mount from the trade, check out the Lowrance Kayak Scupper Mount:

A few adjustments may have to be made for fish finders from other brands.
