A Salmon River Sonnet

Carving turns and spinning fast;
Riding waters of canyons passed.

A Salmon River Sonnet

Mighty river flows miles on down;
Before it ever finds a town.

Polished rocks and sparkling sand;
Reappears when we re-band.

A Salmon River Sonnet

Friends unite year after year;
Making memories we hold dear.

Deep Salmon canyon, walls so high;
Draining land that it goes by.

A Salmon River Sonnet

Wildest country, never tamed;
Nothing ruined, no one blamed.

A Salmon River Sonnet

Bighorn sheep keep watchful eye;
When surfing stops we say goodbye!

A Salmon River Sonnet

Dedicated to Matt Elam and all our friends who are part of the Salmon River Gang.
Surfing the waves of the Salmon River has become a family tradition for us and many other friends that we meet annually. We look forward to sharing the eddies, beaches, berry picking patches and South Salmon shuttle rides with these wonderful friends each and every season that we can make it. This year was a time to reflect upon our many memories and fortunately we made some new ones!
