Road to World – Ep 1 STAKEOUT by Tom DOLLE

After 3 years of slalom boating and a flop at the last World Cup, I am back on the freestyle hustle.

This year’s goal is to win the 2023 World Championships that will be happening in Columbus, GA. A place that I know pretty good as it was my home spot from 2016 to 2019. It is also where I met Mason Hargrove, one of the biggest contender for this year World’s. There will also be Dane Jackson and many other really good paddlers.

I started off this training journey up in Canada for what we call STAKEOUT. Basically, frozen lakes that melts, creates massive rivers and obviously massive waves 🌊
We got to surf probably one of the best wave in the world, called « Cheese wave ».
