Antix meets Suck Creek

As the South East is waiting for rain for the rivers to run, one thing is for sure, once the rain falls the paddlers will come. So, when word got out that Suck Creek was running it was no surprise that the parking lots were full with 40+ kayak rigs and even more eager kayakers ready to get there whitewater fix while the water lasts.

As everyone was unloading and paddling their creek boats, Stephen Wright and myself decided to give the new Antix a run down Suck Creek for a lap. I was shocked with how easy the boat handled on the steep creek, but more so impressed with how much fun it was to be able to play and mess around and have more fun then I thought was ever possible. I can’t wait to get back out on the rivers of the South East and explore the new possibilities to take play boating to the steeper creeks and rivers.
