Rainy Spring Creeking – Rivière d’Ay and a Failed Mission on the Ozon by JK Team | Jun 19, 2021 | Creeking, Featured Post, France, Internationalisation, jacksonkayak.com, JAdventures Main Banner, Nirvana, Whitewater, Whitewater Feature, WW Disciplines | 0 comments We had a really rainy spring, meaning that we could go paddling on the winter runs in warm temperatures, it was so nice!!! Tom, Mateo and I ran 2 laps on a high water classic, the Rivière d’Ay, a full on 2km gorge with continuous rapids. After they left, my friend Eliot who lives nearby was interested in checking out a new run that I scouted on google earth the day before, to say the least, it was terrible haha… portaging, portaging, and scrapping the rocks…exploring comes at a price, sometimes you end up on whitewater gems and other times you run stuff like the Ozon!
