High Flows in Little River Canyon

Little River Canyon is a true gem. The remote canyon provides a wilderness experience with high quality class V at the upper stretches and gradually declines in difficulty as it makes its way to Weiss Lake.

The put-in of the “Suicide Section” offers a 30-foot river wide waterfall with a variety of lines with a set of steep rapids just downstream. LRC is runnable at a wide variety of flows; here are some of the lines at roughly 2,300 CFS in the Jackson Nirvana Medium.
