What is it?

It is a Blunt done backward. Started at the back surf 180° horizontal angle rotation on green water at a vertical angle greater than 45°, clear of the foam pile at some point, where the freestyler rotates around the tail of the boat landing in a forward position.

Step by Step

  1. Set up backward at the top of the wave.
  2. Go for a hop and rail drive.
  3. Push on the leading edge and rotate your body to the secondary side.
  4. Throw the leading hand to the secondary side aggressively rotating your shoulders and torso around to upstream looking through the leading shoulder.
  5. Plant a secondary blade on the water near the knees and pull on it to kick your legs above your body.
  6. Land using a forward’s stroke with the leading blade.
