Step by Step

1. Push your boat up the green water with a back stroke.
2. Bounce with your body pressing the stern down.
3. As the boat bounces back, grab the green water by your feet and pulling on the blade slowly drop the upstream edge against the coming water while pushing down hard on your feet.
4. Keep dropping the edge and pressing with your feet cutting the bow into the green while keeping body weight over the opposite edge to prevent flipping too early. Hold this for as long as possible so the boat has as much chance as possible to rotate completely to facing upstream.
5. Once passes 90° and ideally once rotates full 180°, pull your paddle out of the water and throw forwards as in loop.
