Winter trip to the PNW- Little White Video by Zach Fraysier | Jan 11, 2017 | 2015 Zen, Creeking, JK Team Posts, Video, Whitewater, WW Disciplines, Zen | 0 comments For a born-and-raised southern (US) kayaker, seeing snow on the banks of the river is an uncommon sight. Nonetheless, we packed massive bags full of gear for a 9 day multi-sport trip to Oregon and Washington to ring in the New Year. Time was optimized based on weather conditions which resulted in three days kayaking in Washington, three days mountain biking, and finally snow skiing in once-in-a-decade conditions in Bend, Oregon. The temps were low, but the water levels and snow conditions were prime for quality shredding! Below is a video of a trip down the Little White Salmon River near White Salmon, Washington.
