For the past three years I have paddled the Fun1, and it is a great boat and all that, but this year I got the Shooting Star. I have always wanted a full on awesome playboat, and the Shooting Star is just that. It is super super fast, loose hull, and just goes HUGE!! I have never gone so big on Loops especially, and on waves it is soo much fun. I have paddled it for only about 2 weeks now, and I already know that I will paddle this boat for the next year and a half or so. It is a little bit on the big side for me, but I can still throw it around really well. I got to paddle it on high water Brave Wave ( My home spot) the other day and, ahh, so awesome. Big snappy air blunts, pan ams, air screws. Just awesome. At the beginning the boat felt really weird, but it should feel weird because it is a lot different than the Fun1. And I just have to get used to the speed and the volume really. I would say that my favorite part of the Shooting Star on waves is that the edges are really good. So when I would drop a lot of edge it would rock me way up in the air for big tricks! In holes I like the fact that you launch sooo high out of the water for loops and for cartwheels the bow and stern slice through really easily. I guess it all comes down to this: The Shooting Star is by far my favorite boat in the world and it goes HUGE!!

Thank you Jacksonkayak for making such a sweet boat,

Dane
