Firstly, this boat is nothing like the old All Star. This boat is shorter, with more volume at the knees, different stern and shorter nose. Really there has been a dramatic change with freestyle boats this year. This boat is faster when it comes to ends, and goes ridiculously big. I have never seen a boat that just wants to be launched in the air like this new All Star.

Now as a C1 I have managed to convert it as normal with the usual C1 Conversion system found here.

I found that although I am a very tall guy, 6’3" and the new 2010 All Star is shorter, I still fit in it fine as a C1. It slices around very fast and I had to remember this as I was doing cartwheels for the first time, however now this thing is my best friend. I can throw it like there is no tomorrow. Bloody fast, clean cartwheels never came so easy. And I am not just saying that because I like Jackson boats, I can honestly say that these boats will change the way you clean and super clean. Wave moves also come easy, fantastic edges on this boat will allow more moves than ever before. The tail has been dramatically changed which I found really helped my back surfing, backstabs and everything backwards.

So to sum up, I love this boat.

A big thanks goes to Royce Cowan for the pics.

Cheers mate,
