The Feather River Festival is one of my favorite annual festivals. It’s put on by American Whitewater and never disappoints. There’s three fun sections of whitewater to choose from depending on your comfort level; class III, class IV, or class IV-V. All the runs are road side and it’s always easy to find people to paddle and shuttle with. Macy Burnham puts on a downriver race on the class IV-V section and the awards ceremony is always unique and entertaining. If you’re curious what I mean by that you’ll just have to check it for yourself next year!

Here’s the results from this year’s race. We had the biggest turn out to date with a total of 58 racers! Hopefully next year we’ll have even more!
