Kayaking the Upper Blackwater in West Virginia by JK Team | Mar 16, 2021 | Creeking, Nirvana, Whitewater, Whitewater Feature, WW Disciplines | 0 comments Submitted by: Christina Kossis The Upper Blackwater is one of West Virginia’s most fun, action packed wilderness runs. This unique river named for the dark tannin water is 2 miles of steep class IV/V boofs and slides with very little breaks and epic scenery. We were fortunate enough to catch the run on the tail end of some heavy flooding last week. Below is the link to the run at a nice friendly level with all of the major rapids named: https://youtu.be/dbTfiMPokHE Submit a Comment Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
