The Upper Blackwater is one of West Virginia’s most fun, action packed wilderness runs. This unique river named for the dark tannin water is 2 miles of steep class IV/V boofs and slides with very little breaks and epic scenery. We were fortunate enough to catch the run on the tail end of some heavy flooding last week.
