Learn to STERN STALL by doing exercises in the video!

What is it?

Stern Stall is a vertical end at the angle minimum of 70 degrees held for at least 3 seconds. It is a more advanced move than Tailee however, after mastering it, learning the stall will be easier.

Step by Step

  1. Make a forward sweep stroke on upstream side.
  2. Push your feet down and twist your body to the leading downstream side putting your leading blade near the tail while looking at it.
  3. Do a back sweep stroke with leading blade dropping your edge on the secondary side down.
  4. Increase your edge, trying to push your stern under the water and roll your legs above your body. Keep looking at the leading blade.
  5. Once your boat gets vertical, look at the bow and lay your back flat on the water with your head half submerged.
  6. Put your paddle behind your head with your hands almost straight
