Learn to SHUVIT by doing exercises in the video!

What is it?

A Shuvit is 2 consecutive 180° horizontal angle rotations of the boat at a vertical angle between 0° and 45°. Beginning in the front surf position to the back surf position, then returning to the front surf position without a pause. The 2nd rotation must be in the opposite direction of the first and the entire trick is completed with one blade remaining in the water for the duration of the trick.

Step by Step

  1. Set up in the basic position, pick a point in front of you to look at.
  2. Put one blade at the stern while still looking straight.
  3. Push yourself away using a back sweep stroke. Make sure to finish at the bow. Keep your blade in the water and look downstream.
  4. Rotate your upper body back and look towards the upstream through the same shoulder.
  5. Do a front sweep stroke looking towards the starting point.
