Looking Back on 2023

This season had some wild ups and downs. I paddled some of the highest water levels ever recorded in the Northwoods.

Then I endured continued drought at my local spots and sliced in some of the lowest water levels on record.

I paddled new-to-me rivers, surfed a new wave, and discovered more slice spots. I made kayaking fun happen despite the conditions presented.
