I love the water – but I hate leaky stuff. That’s why I paddle a Jackson Kayak – and make sure to get quality skirts and gear to top it off. I stay vigilant patching small pin-holes in my outerwear, to keep my fleece dry and my boat nice and light for hours at a time. I keep a usable tube of aqua seal on hand at all times, so when I feel that cold rush at my elbow or shoulder, I can find and repair the pin-hole before my next shuttle. So I need to take care of any tube of Aquaseal I use..or the whole thing will go hard between uses. Here’s my current best strategy – nail, electric tape, and freezer – I hope it helps you get more from each tube as well. Check out this video to see how.

Great tips, Clay!! 👍🏽👍🏽
Nice, Klay! I use the freezer too. Also I’ve found that if I put a piece of Saran Wrap or waxed paper over the tip like a gasket and then screw on the cap, it seems to lengthen the time you get before the aqua seal dries up in the tube.
