A Massachusetts native, Ken Wood began fishing from a Pelican Getaway 140 sit-in kayak in 2007. No bells, no whistles; just two flush mount rod holders and one swivel rod holder. He currently fishes out of a Jackson Kayak Big Rig FD and travels all over New England and beyond, from Ohio to Florida to Texas, fishing as many tournaments as he can.
He is the founder of Massachusetts Kayak Bassin’, the biggest, baddest kayak bass fishing tournament series in the state. Ken is also a husband, father, Air Force veteran, obsessive music fan, writer, publisher, editor, and dozens of other things. His list of passions is as diverse as it is long.
