Bit about myself: My dad exposed me to the rivers before I could even walk. I began kayaking at 10 years old and quickly fell in love with the sport. I kayaked mainly just to hang out with friends and have a good time, but at 11 years old, I watched my first Green Race. Sitting right at the edge of gorilla with my feet dangling over the pad, I realized this is what I want to do.
My first competition was the 2017 NOC Shootout; as a first time cadet, I had barely any idea what I was doing, but I snagged 3rd place with luck. Fast forward to now: I’ve competed on Team USA, podiumed and won many high class races, competed international, and paddled around the world!
