My name is Dan Brown, I’m 23 years old, born and raised in cedar park Tx. Currently living in Austin Tx, where I work Monday through Friday as a Trimble operator. After work most days I load up my Jackson kayak and hit a local lake!
I’m thankful dad introduced me to fishing at inks lake when I was 4 years old. After catching my first bluegill I was hooked! Ever since then I have fished, and learned about fishing during my free time daily.
I started kayak fishing at inks lake as a young boy on family vacations, at 14 I was dropped off at local lakes to fish on the weekends. When I turned 16 I loaded up my kayak after school, and on the weekends to fish new locations around central Texas. Nowadays you will find me deep in the heart of Texas traversing new waters weekly in my Jackson kayak!
I hope to inspire the next generation of kayak anglers to help keep our rivers clean, and practice proper catch& release through my interactions with them on the water, and the content I put out through my instagram @dartfishdan.
