Host and creator of The Discomfort Zone Podcast - conversations with high performing paddlers and people on how to navigate fear and challenge to find passion, purpose and joy.

Founder of Mind Body Paddle - Empowering paddlers and adventurers to build skill, courage and confidence through a holistic approach that includes wisdom from the river, self-awareness and mental agility.

Pioneer and voice for empowering women in whitewater starting with the production of the first instructional DVD for women - Girls at Play - in 2004 - continued with a video series, clinics and events for women over the past 25 years. Currently host Womens Paddlefest at the Nantahala Outdoor Center that raises money for the Shannon Christy Memorial Fund.

Bronze Medalist at the 2001 Freestyle World Championships K1W and 5X Canadian Freestyle Kayak Team Member.

Why Anna Loves Kayaking: There's so much life wisdom to be gained from understanding and navigating the river, it brings me a lot of joy, and the paddling community is super fun and supportive. It's a way of life and I'm in it for the long haul.
