About Riley: I did my first river trip when I was 8 months old on a raft with my mom rowing. I started paddling when I was around 3 just siting in my dads boat in the eddy. When I turned 4 I got my first boat, A Fun 1 and started paddling a bit more on my own. I paddled lots of desert flat-water runs, getting on the raft for the rapids. I started running harder whitewater when I learned roll at age 7. In 2012 I got my first creek boat, a Zen 55, and ran my first class IV and my first V a year later. I did my first creek race in 2014 and my first freestyle competition in 2015.
