Started fishing the local river (Elkhart River) since I was 13 years old. My brother Mike and I were the original River Rats. We floated and fished down the river from near where we lived to Greys Bridge on anything that would carry us. We used huge chunks of Styrofoam, old beat up row boats, and homemade rafts. I expanded my fishing adventures to other surrounding bodies of water including the St. Joseph River, Pigeon River, Little Elkhart River, Fawn River, Solomon Creek, and various lakes both in Michigan and Indiana. I am a member of BASS and belong to a local bass fishing club called Northern Indiana Bass Anglers. I have competed in different tournaments over the years including Muskie and Bass. I take people (guided trips) to the biggest fish of their lives. Ask to see photos on my smart phone to substantiate my claim. I still take people every year who have never fished and introduce them to kayak fishing community.
